As well as the critiques, I'm also finding a lot to identify with in the biographical details of some of the reactions, i.e. that they were 7 or 8 years old.

The post on the Sex Pistols' 'God Save the Queen' says a lot of sensible things; but the most memorable (because the most irritating) songs of 1977 for me were the singles by David Soul, and it's illuminating to see them here written up as the last hurrah of the bubblegum era. Truly one does not know the times in which one lives until they are past.

Off topic, but just to say thanks for the invitation to Osterhagen. I'm looking forward to seeing the fan made reconstructions of the missing episodes of the 2008 "Totally Doctor Who" season, and the numerology panel on BBC press releases concerning 2009 specials.
