...just seen the last episode of Robin Hood which reboots the next season by killing off one of the leads. No last minute rescue or miracle cure, as one might expect from this show, but a very strong, well played scene, then mourning and a burial!

I didn't see it (family wanted to watch Grand Designs on More 4) but thought from the Radio Times that drastic action was going to be taken somewhere.

I've now seen who they did kill off - I'd anticipated another character being removed, actually, as you can probably guess.

I found the half dozen or so episodes that I saw this year an improvement on the first series - Richard Armitage has been giving it his all, there have been fun guest turns from Dexter Fletcher and Lee Ross (perhaps Julia Sawalha will turn up next year). I wish I could say Jonas Armstrong has been a striking, charismatic lead, but I find him more smug than winning. He's good at grief and angst though.
