Haven't looked at the website for ages, so was surprised and delighted to see the 'sizzle reel' for The Golden Compass up at Bridge to the Stars.

Always tough to judge these things on two and a bit minutes, but - Sam Elliott is going to be utterly perfect as Lee Scoresby.

Nowadays the process of making the film has become part of the teaser system - the set was closed for PR reasons as much as for anything else. It's now fine to show unfinished CGI as advance promotion. Much emphasis on Ms Kidman.
