I enjoyed it, probably more scene by scene than as an all-in-one coherent drama. David Tennant can hit those moments of quiet reflection out of the park, but he can't really do shouting ("This ends tonight" - sorry, but I just imagined Eccleston delivering that line with utter moral authority.)
I really appreciated Ardal O'Hanlon, his wife, their offspring, the friends list, the stunning CGI shots of the city. The soliloquy about the Doctor's home works twice over as mythos building for the new fans and a direct homage to, I think, David Whitaker's writing in the early 60s. And again, I got the vibe of early Doctor Who Monthly comic strips, specifically "End of the Line".
