Displacement activity
Jan. 21st, 2004 10:52 pmWell, here we are then. A quiet evening in with the computer, after a quiet day at work, which was more significant for the work that I've promised to do than for anything I did today.
Promises made -
1) To edit my original review of "The Light Ages" into something that could be used as copy for the SF Book of the Month
2) To read and review Chris Simms' rural-underclass crime thriller "Pecking Order" ASAP for "The Verdict". (Opening line - those of a nervous disposition look away now:
"With a sound like two twigs snapping, the chicken's legs broke in his hand".)
I'd better make a start with (2), as the proof arrived a day late and the deadline is the middle of next week. TTFN!
