Scrabulated
Oct. 19th, 2007 02:38 amHave discovered the addictive qualities of the Scrabulous application on Facebook, and have enjoyed playing a match over five days (and nights) against Carin R in Canada. I won, narrowly, mainly because I drew both blanks. Have been challenged to a re-match and drew a blank on my second turn, leading to my first 'bingo' word (i.e. all seven tiles used.)
Other diversions - stayed up late to watch 'Studio 60' make it's terrestrial debut in the graveyard slot; it's a bit airless and claustrophobic, and putting Timothy Busfield and Bradley Whitford in scenes together is too distracting. (I kept expecting C J to interrupt them at some point.)
'30 Rock' is sillier, broader, more slapstick, but has a lovely lead role for Tina Fey and a scenery chewing one from Alec Baldwin. Kudos to five for buying this, and for not burying it away at 12.20 am.
