Briefly...
Mar. 25th, 2004 02:24 pmA quick visit this morning from Mrs E, from Operations, who told me a bit more about the vacancy. There's been lots of chopping and changing at management level, so much so that the manager details on the shop website are incorrect.
The shop did win a county-wide retailer of the year award two months ago - "We're not quite sure how they managed that," she said.
Mrs E was forthcoming about how challenging the position would be - and very positive about my suitability for it. "I've heard you're patient"... this surely can't be a reference to the stockcount and MYL??!
I will post some thoughts about yesterday's theatricals later on... for now I'll just say that I've persuaded at least three other people in the shop that they have to go and see the revival (and take me along with them)!
